My journey with seedlings began with a simple interest in how a small, well-cared-for plant can grow into something that supports a family for many years. Over time, that interest developed into practical experience in raising seedlings, understanding different fruit varieties, and helping farmers make better planting decisions.
I realised that many farmers do not struggle because they are unwilling to work. They often struggle because they begin with the wrong seedling, receive incomplete information, or do not get the support they need after buying. A healthy seedling is important, but proper guidance on planting, spacing, watering, soil preparation, and early care is equally important.
That understanding became the foundation of Greenplantseedlings.
Our work is centred on helping farmers access quality fruit-tree seedlings and reliable information. Before recommending a seedling, we try to understand the farmer’s location, climate, available space, soil conditions, and long-term farming plan. This helps us give guidance that is practical rather than simply making a sale.
Working with seedlings requires patience and attention. Every young plant must be monitored carefully as it develops. The roots, leaves, stem, moisture, and general health of the seedling all matter. This process has taught me that farming success is usually built through small, consistent actions rather than quick decisions.
I also enjoy speaking with farmers about their plans. Some are planting a few trees around their homes, while others are developing larger commercial orchards. Each farmer has a different vision, and I believe they deserve to be listened to and guided according to their own goals.
